KILDA CLUB. . The fifth annual meeting of the St. Kilda Tennis Club was held last night. Mr J. J. Marlpw, the, club's president,; occupied the chair, and there was a large attendance of nrnmbers. The Chairman moved the adoption of the report (already published), and it was carried with but little discussion. The secretary- (Mi- Lodge) took occasion to pay a tribute to the committee that had bsen with him during tho s«t«m for the regularity of its attendance and for its assiduous scrvicj to the club.

Tho Chairman moved the adoption ,of the balance sheet, which showed a total income for the year of £67 17s 4d and an expenditure of £33 is 7d. leaving a credit balance of £29 ljs Oil. Commenting on this, he aid that if the c-lub did as well in the coining year it could safely spend £60 on thj formation ot a new court, and stilt nave a l-alance in hand. He thought they would he quite justified in going on with the new court. The balance sheet reflected great credit on the committee, and especially on tile secretary. . it was decided to alter the rales, -subject to the consent, of a future meeting, to permit, of the election oi four instead of two vice-presidents.
