(Peb United Press Association.) WAIPAWA, March 15. Henry Burkin, a single man, was killed at the railway crossing last night by the express train. GREYMOUTH, March 15. Charles Frederick Cambridge, 32, a married farmer, was drowned yesterday at midday through the capsizing of a boat, which was used as a punt with a wire rope. This broke, causing the accident. Cambridge's father resides at Belfast, near Christehurch. An inquest was being held to-day. The police woro advised yesterday afternoon that a child, aged 4 months, had died of whooping-cough at a licensed home at 86 Castle street. The child, which was, being attended by Dr Evans and which had suffered severely from whooping-cough for a week past, developed convulsions a couple of days ago, and (lied as stated.
