WHALEBOAT STRANDED.
(Per United Press Association.; HOKITfKA, March 5. The Collector of Customs at Hokitika received the following telegram to-day from the signalman at Okura :—"A kauri centre-board whalcboat, 18ft long by 7ft 6in beam, painted white inside, red to the water-line, and white above outside, has been found stranded at Brown's Refuge, South Barn Bay."
