WANGANUI RAM FAIR.

(Per Unjied I'hbss Association,) WANGANUI, February 11. The first day of the VViinganui Rant Fair was held at .Messrs Kncman H. Jackson and Co.'s yards to-day. There was a good sale for Lincoln studs, the top prices being 4Gy guineas for one of Mr W. H. Wybmirne's breed, and 4U guineas for a rain of Mr Perry's. Border Leiccsters and Southdown met with a spirited sale, and till lines ot' these breeds were sold under the hammer. Southdown* making to nine guineas. For flock Lincoln* there was very little competition, the bulk of the business being done privately. Tito highest price i'or Lincoln Hocks was £4 17s 6d. Komney made from 1£ guineas to 3 guineas.
