MILK-VENDORS FINED.

At the Magistrate's, Court, tb-day twfl milk vendors (one of them the Dairy■ Company) were fined. £3 each,' and a third £2, witli costs (£2 8s each), for selling milk below the regulation standard •in cream contents. There was iio suggestion of watering, fllie explanation 'being that the milk being milk of: the nighfe before, 1 ,the cream bad risen' to the top and had been delivered'to the customers supplied before the inspector took his samples. The remedy recommended was stirring the'milk in the cans. -. .
