THE SUMMER SHOW.
The;Otago Agricultural and' Pastoral Socicty'3 Slimmer show, opens to-morrow,-at. Tahuna Park,anu7.that it is to be just as successful and as Important as any previously held is beyond all shadow of doubt. Yesterday Mr H. V. Fulton, the energetic secretary of the' society, and members of the committee'spent a great; deal of. time at Tahuna Park, which is to be the scene of the shOw. as of yore, and tho arrangements there are practically completed. Exhibitors are now at work erecting their stands, etc., while owners are commencing to arrive with' their stock/ Tho ground is in perfect condition, and the alterations that have been effected will tend irt a very largo measuro to the increased comfort of patrons and exhibitors alike. The society has devoted special attention to, the popularising of People's Day, and the programme that has been drawn up promises to provide some excellent sport.. It includes bare-back riding, wiestling on horseback, steepleehnsing, etc. The 'arrangements are completed with the City Corporation for the disposal at tho Post Office, as from 9 o'clock on the mornings of both' Thursday and Friday, of tickets entitling the holder to both transit on' the cars to and from the grounds and admission to the show.
