THE ANNUAL REPORT. (Fbojc Our Own CoitREsroNDENT.) ■WELLINGTON, August ♦. The report of the Board of the Government Bailways Superannuation Ifund was presented to v Parliament to-day. The baiajjeo sheet shows that members contributed £45,G69 during the year, fines amounted to £239, and interest to £5352. Theso amounts, together with the 6um of £110,7j36' brought forward from last year, bring out the aggregate'sum of £151,997. The superannuation allowances paid during the' year amounted to £26,758, representing grants to 484 members. Allowancesamounting to £3799 were paid in respect to 105 widows and 173 children. The total disbursements for the year amounted to £35,354, leaving a balance of £126,642 to the credit of the fund on March 31 last.
