Ataahus turned into ' the straight well in front of Charlemagne mid Lady Quiz, and along the back the first-named kept a long lead. At the tarn Ataahua was 15 lengths in front of Dogoba,' but the New Zealand horse fell at the sccond'last hurdle. In connection with the disqualification of tlio horse Full Cry at the recent raceß, the stewards of ■ the Wellington Racing Club met to continue the inquiry. After a lengthy sitting it was decided to disqualify Full Cry, C. Chcstermun (his owner), and T. O'Brien (licensed jockey) during the pleasure of the club. GOLF. . The Otago Golf Club's monthly competition for the St. Andrew's crosses (gold and silver) took phco on tio Balmacowen Links on Saturday. Brrol Smith, with * card showing all square with Bogey, won the gold cross, while Haimun Reeve?, with two down, won the silver cross.
