«a BRITAIN v. NELSON. (FaoM Oub Special Importer.) •NELSON, June 19. The British team arrived at Nelson tonight, after a two days' trip overland ■ from Uroymouth. All the members are delighted with the magnificent scenery of the Duller Gorge. A sensational incident occurred at Longford, whore two sporting members of tho team, in attempting to cro3s the Bullor River in a small boat, were carried over a rapid, narrowly eseapting drowning. Mr Piper (Mayor of Nelson) and Dr Andrews welcomed tho team to Nelson on behalf of tho citizens and the Rugby JJnion respectively, Mr Harnett suitably replying. Tho weather promises to be fine for tomorrow's match, for which a record attendance is anticipated. The following is tho British team:Full back, Jackett; threo-quarters— Gibbs, M'Evedy, J. 11.I 1 . Jones, J. L. WilHams; halves—W. Morgan and Tuan Jones; forwards—Dibble, Jackson, E. Morgan, Down, Green, Ritson, Archer, J. V. Williams.
