SAD ACCIDENT IN THE RAILWAY
YARD.

In a few. minutes there was a loud explosion, followed bv terrible erics. A few men rlishod to the sconci and arrived in time to see a blazing ifiass' being apparently precipitated downstairs. Thby then saw that it was a human being envcldpc<l iii ftahio. There was a' splintbting of glass as the victihi mado a dash at tho window, where he stuck, and the unfortunate man lay half-way through tho sa?h, writhing ii: awful agony and cutting himself with the jagged glass bii wliitli. he w-as impaled. His hair, WBtistaelitf, aitd eyebrows were burned off, and liis body was fbfribiy burned. His iihch collar was the oliiy article of clothing left intact. With gtSAt presence of mind, Mr I'. Tyler, train inspector, snatched up a great coat, and wrapping it around Mr Ti'btt extinguished tho burning. Mr Trott, for s\icll it pi'dveil to be; was so disfigured as to iriakc recognition impossible, lib, however, retained cbhsbiotisness, and was immediately conveyed to tho Hospital, whero ho died next morning,
