For paying less than the minimum wage Ballen and K-ay, , aerated water manufacturers, were fined £2. . : J. C. Archibald, painter, was fined £2 and W. H. Banks, carpenter, £5 for accepting loss than tho tninimum'-wagc. IT. Kobinson, M. Stcnninir, and J. Toues wcro oach fined 10s' and ,F. P. Claridge was fined £1 for failing to give their employees alternate' Sundays off. Tho Chi'istchurch Brick Company, wae fined £5 for not paying overtimo to a traction engine-driver. *
