Tho cxaot drc&scd weight of the last' three sheep that were fiuesscd upon in connection with the show proved to bo 2871b. Messrs Jas. A. Rolicrts (Dunocliji), John Doiv (Dunedin), R. 8. Swale (J-nver-cargill), and John Shnnnan (Iserwiek) guessed and divide tho first prizo ir.oiicy of £2. Messrs J. P. Little ll'uketoi) and Ja.s. Gilbert (Sutton), 283, guessed within lib, and divide the second prize of £1, Mr Jas.' Mitchell (Weston) guessed 285J1b; Miss Maggie Munro . (Warepa) 283i1b; ami Mr Robt. Smith (Berwick), 265£ib. The guessing ranged from 1601b to 3501b. The bullock, which was weighed in tho presence of tho presitlcnt, secretary, and a member of the committee yestmlav morning, proved to be tho exact weight, o£ 8251b. Mr D. i\ Reid, 6 Young street.
