The weekly meeting of the Otago Rugby Football Union was held last evening, tho president (Mr G. W, C. Jlacilonald) presiding. CORRESPONDENCE. The Secretary of the Union Fifth Grade team wrote stating that Port Chalmers had played thic« players over tho age of 17 years. lJeforrcd to tho Flag Committee. Ho would like tho union to consider whether or not tho reports should be supplied to the press in future. Mr Campboll moved—"That last, year's motion referring to the matter be rescinded, and that in future the press be asked not to attend meetings." Mr Harris feconded tho motion, which was lost by 11 votes to 5. Mr Wilson said ho would move —"That in future no letters be handed to the press for publication prior to coming before the union." The Chairman said he intended giving instructions to that effect in future. COUNTKY WEEK. Tlio matter of arranging a. date for the visit of tho country teams was left to a subcommittee consisting of Messrs Priest, Dey, and Dunn to report in a fortnight.

Green Island, against tho awardiiig of which to the latter the Christian Brothers Club protested on the grounds of the incompetency of the substitute referee, it was resolved that the match bo replayed upon a date to be arranged.
