Mr A. A. who is returning to England, is very well satisfied with the sales of pictures at tlic Exhibition. Tlio sales have exceeded £15.000, or more than double- the figure recorded ;it the St. Ixntis Exhibition. Mr Longden says the people of Xew Zealand have learned to appreciate pictures sinco tlie llritish collection came to this country, niul this will benefit local artist?.
