CRUSADE AGAINST GAMBLING

WKLLIXGTON, May 3. A meeting, convened by tlM> Church Council, was .held this evening to discuss the formation of a committee to promote legislation against gambling, There was Ml informal discussion oil a series of proposals dealing with tl:o abolition of the totalizator and prosecutions for gambling, ami those were approved as the basis of consideration for a citizen.-:' committee, which it is proposed to call into existence.
