(Pee United Press Association.) INYKRC'ARGILL, May 3. It was rumoured to-day that tho GoreWdiknlia railway was likely to bo retarded through settlors on tire route demanding exorbitant prices for the land required for the lino. The scewlary •of tho company; gives aamrance, however, that there is no sign of any trouble. Tho assessor reports that he has covered about two-thirds of tho route, and is entirely satisfied with tho results.
