UNION CLUB. The thirty-fifth annual meeting' of mom•hers of tho Union Football Club was held last evening, and was attended by 58 members. Mr H. Harris occupied the chair. The balanec sheet showed that the receipts for tho past year wcro £38 I6s 2d, and the expenditure £37 f 9s, leaving a credit balance of £1 7s 2d, in addition to which tho club had assets valued at £15 17s 2d, while its liabilities were nil. On tho motion of tho chairman, seconded by Jlr I'. Skinner, tho report and balanco sheet were adopted. The following office-boarers wero elected: —President, Mr J. Hope; vice-presidents, Dr Batchelor and Mr J. H. Chapman; lion, secretary, Mr .1. Mackenzie (tho appointment of an assistant secretary being loft to tho committee); h'on. treasurer, Mr C. AV. Harris; committee—Messrs AA r . Munro, F. Daubney, H. Harris, 11.I 1 . M'Cart-hy. AY. Harris, and ,T. Simpson; auditors, Messrs 11. H. S. White and Mr AV. Beadle; delegate on Accident Insurance Fund, Mr F. Daubnev; delegate to 0.R.F.U.. Messrs D. M. Munro, 11. Harris, and AY. Harris; delegates to Athletic Protection Society, Mr J. Mackenzie; Match Committee—Messrs W. Harris. P. M'Cartliy, -and the 'captain of the First Fifteen.
A communication from the Exhibition authorities re a football tournament was referred to the committee. It was decided to give delegates to tho O.R.F.U. a free hand in regard to the proposed application by the Athletic Club for affiliation. Twelve new members •wore elected. The opening day was fixed for April &. On tho motion of Mr D. 31. Munro, tho retiring olfico-bcarers wero accorded a hearty vote of thanks for their services ■during tho year. PORT CHALMERS CLUB. The twenty-third annual mooting of the Pert Chalmers Football Club was held last evening. Owing to the unavoidable absenco of tho president (Dr Borric) the chair was occupied by Mr J. 11. Crawford (vice-presi-dent), and there was a record attendance of monilvrs. Tho annual report (already published) anil bakneo shoot were road anil adopted. The latter showed that tho club was in sound position financially, the assets being £70, with a cash balance to credit of £12 2s 2Jd. In moving their adoption, the Chairman said the results achieved during tho past season showed that the club had justified its elevation to soiiior football, and he congratulated tho club upon iU sound financial petition and tho manner in which members had worked' to enable tho club to attain its present vcrv satisfactory position. Connor; delegates to 0.R.F.U., Messrs Wilson, Crawford, and Dodds; Selection Committee—Messrs M'Donald and Campbell ; General Committee—Messrs G. Cashman, AV. Dougherty, M. Salter, C. Colt.horp, W. Connor,' A, Ferguson, and C. M. Dumiott. St, Patrick's and St. Joseph's combined club, representing over 100 members, wrote signifying its _ intention to apply for inclusion ill senior football, and staling reasons in justification thereof. Tho matter was referred to the club's delegates to tho O.R.F.'U. for favourable consideration.
