(Per United Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., March 8. At the _ Supreme Court to-day W. Gugild Piobb claimed £501 d milages from i.'no Akitio Saw Milling Company for the death of •his son. The plaintiff's son was engaged on an oil launch for tho defendant company, iind when engaged on a short vogago tho launch was wrecked and tho crew of two men were drowned. It wis alleged by tho plaintiff that tho vessel was unseaworlhy. and short manned. Tho jury considered that £50 damages -should ln> awarded. A decree nisi was granted in the case of Henry Bailey v. Ethel Mary Bailoy, to bo mads absolute in three months. An order was made for costs against the corespondent (Herbert Tonks).'
