LEGACY FOR BLIND JEWS
QUESTION OF DISPOSAL; "Dotted Pxxss Association.) WELLINGTON. February 19. The disposal of a £5000 legacy, left bf the late Mr Jacob Joseph, of Wcllin"ton, for the erection of buildings in London for blind Jews, has been brought bofqro the court. The question had been argued last year, and a son of the deceased who lmd visited London arranged, subject to the sanction of the court, to grant £3500 lo the Jubileo Institute for tho Blind at Auckland. Tho Chief Justice thought it would ljot bo right to change the legacy lo New Zealand, as it was tho intention of the testator to give the money for tho Jewish blind of London. If. however, tlx] Society for the Relief of Indigent Jews iq London and tho beneficiaries consented, that courso might, perhaps, bo adopted, lie would tako timo to consider the matter,
