WELLINGTON, January 8. lJio reciprocal Oustoms treaty between south Africa and New Zealand has been gazette It provides that duties on goods, tho produce or manufacture of New Zealand, imported into the South African colonics (Cape Colony, Natal, Orangia, Transvaal, and Southern Rhdoesia) shall boBran, is; Hour, 2s 3d; cats, Is 10d; wheat Is |mr cental;' butter, 2d per lb; ohee&ej per cent, ad valorem; meats. Id per Ib; all other goods except spirits, 25 per cent less lhan the duty which would otherwise he paid. The duties on goods, the produco or manufacture of the $o U lh African colonics, imported into New Zealand, shall w>: Feathers, 15 nor cent, a<l valorem; nsn. l«d per Ih; fruite, dried and green, free: inaizi-, 6d: sugar, Is Ed ],er centaltobacco, manufactured, 2s 6d per lb; tea not otherwise- exempt, l<l per Jb; wines other than sparkling. 2s per gallon; wines, sparkling, 5s por sallon: all oilier goods except spirits, 25 per cent, lea than tho duty which would otherwise be paid.
