There was a- good attendance, and tho sum of £080-1 10s was put through the totalisalor, as sgainst £7735 on the corresponding day of last year—an increase of £!(IG9 10s. Lovely weather prevailed for the concluding day of tho Wellington Racing Club's meeting, and the attendance was up to the average, about 5000 being present. Very little use was made of the scratching pen, and the racing was of an interesting character. The sum of £22,423 went through tho machines to-day (including £2241 through the doublo machine, which paid ±7 14s on tho handicap and Metropolitan), and this mate £G4,SSO for tho meeting, llesults: — MUN&AUOA HACK HURDLES, of lOOsovs. Ono mile and a-half.—2B2 Lavink, 10.6, 1; 189 Wind, 11.0, 2; 190 Outer, 10.6, 3. Blythemaid gavo way to Wirral as the horses entered the top turn, and then Do Witte went at tire leader. In the straight Fontcnoy ran through on tho inside, and led until a hundred yards from the post, with Do Witto at his rear. Then Molns, on the outside, came, with a great rattle, and won my half a. length, Probable beating Dβ Wilte for third position. Time, lmin 41sec. Dividends, £i lGs and Us.

Lnmedorff was tho quickest away, with Theresa and English Rose next, but at tho turn the field was well bunched. A splendid race all the way home—all tho whips being out—resulted in Prism just beating Swallow by tho shortest of heads, with Lauisctarff right up on the leaders. Time, lmin 3 4-ssec. Guidwife slipped tho field at the start, andran round the top turn with a. lead of a coupleof lengths from Idealist, but the latter soon dropped out of the struggle. Elevation then challenged the leader, but Sir George Clifford's filly held her own all the way home, and won comfortably by three-quatkra of a. length, with Downfall a good third.
