The Dunedin Harriers held their Fivonulc Club Championship at' Forbury on Saturday afternoon, when 12 men faced the garter,' who': promptly sent them on their journey. The course was a bit heavy after tho rain, and tho strong wind .from tho south made'ltself felt as the men were runfling'down "the far side of the course. Finishing ttjio first milo in Smin 27scc, Murray, Mace, Forrester, Dowlamte, Munn, and Melville.wero all together, with Bonnin, Moore, and Ronnie a little behind, and Morrison, Jackson, and Eainsford in the third batch. The second njile was timed at llmin 25sec, with Murray, Mnco, 'and Don-lands running together, and Munn and Forrester 50 yards behind, Melville having retired. The same order was maintained in Ilia third mile, which was rattled off in lTmin 20sec, with* Bonnin and Mooro tho closest attendants, Munn having dropped away back and losing Forrester, who had retired. Going down the back stretch for tho fourth time, Mace and Murray left Dowlands a little, and, running step for step together, finished tlic fourth milo in 23min 24eec, with Dowlands 100 yards away, followed by 'Moore and Bonnin, and the ol hers some distance behind." Tho Civil Service Club held their final run of tho season at Ijittlebourne, at tho invitation of Mr ,Tas. Wilson. Smith and Brooks hud charge of the paper, and gavo Iho paek a. real good run. After passing through Kaikorai Yallcv thev struck off through Sonntag's in the direction of Ashburn Hall, whore they turned in an almost straight lino through Jirockville till tho Silveretream reservoir was reached.
