TRADES DISPUTES BILL. Prsss Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, April 26. (Received April 26, at 11.59 p.m.) In the House of Commons the Government Trades Disputes Bill was read a second time. The Labourites, in supporting the bill, relied upon the Government's promises to incorporate their views when the bill reached the committee 6tage. Mr Balfour protested that the Government whs' shifting its responsibility upon other shoulders. His view was that the legislation should limit itself'to putting unions on a footing of equality with comparable institutions. DEMONSTRATION BY WOMEN. (Received April 27, at 0.42 a.m.) In the House of Commons Mr Keir Haulie's women's suffrage proposals were talked out. During the debate cries of "Divide" emanated from the Ladies' Gallery, and a ilag was thrust through the grille. The Speaker ordered the gallery to be cleared. The police took a few names. All excepting one, who was ejected, were persuaded to withdraw after a loud protest.
