THE SYDNEY WHARF LABOURERS. Presi Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, April 26. (Received April 26, at 10.37 p.m.) At the Arbitration Court to-day the hearing of the application to cancel the registration of the Wharf Labourite' Union, owing to its refusal to enrol a membc., was continued. A letter was read from the union showing that (he executive had decided to admit the member, but a meeting of the union had refused to endorse the decision. The executive also stated that when the man over whom tlie trouble arose went to work the unionists who were engaged on the job immediately struck. In granting a further adjournment, of the case, the president of the court ordered that the registration of the union bo amended by the striking out of the clause giving preference to unionists, holding that by refusing to admit a meinbtr the union was maintaining preference under false pretences.
