Campbell-Bannerman addresses the London Liberal Federation on the 21st inst. in the Albert Hall. The dissolution of Parliament is expected to take place on January 8. Earl Elgin, replying to the congratulations of the Agents-general, said he would do his utmost to promote the interests of the Empire.

The Parliamentary Committee of the British Trades Unions' Congress has appealed to the workers to vote only for those candidates who are pledged to the Trades Union programme and who are willing to assist labour to win its natural rights, including a higher standard of living.
