(Per United Press Association.) NELSON, September 12. At the inquest 011 Charles Mills, a marker, who was shot dead on the new rifle range of the Wakatu Mounted Rifles 011 Saturday the jury, after midnight, returned a verdict that the deceased was accidentally killed. They added (ho following rider: —"Whilst not considering the construction of the shelter pit and cover contributed to Mills's death, thoy aro of opinion that tho construction was faulty, and tlmt tho range should not bo used again until provided with better appliances, inspected , and passed _by a responsible military expert.
