The Medical Conference carried a resolution affirming that the tisa of X rays, radium, and the Finsen light should be under the direct, supervision of a medical man, owing to the complex and sometimes dangerous symptoms produced by these agents; also that an applied school of hygiene should form a compulsory subject in tlio training of State school teachers; that a system of medical inspection in State schools should bo instituted; and that it is unethical for the medical profession to grant interviews to the lay press on mcdical matters in connection with which their names are allowed to appear.
