. The .fifth, annual meeting of The, TVakarl llifle Volunteer Corps was-held in the Wakari ( Hall 011 Thursday evening, after the usual parade. There wero present: Captain A. Washer. Lieiitbn&iils W. Dobsoh aiid AV. M'Kenzie, aiul 35 noil-coins, and men. The annual report tliid balance sheet were presented. These showed the cpiipauy fo be in a very sound financial condition, the company having earned capitation for 59 men for the year. This balance sheet as read was Unanimously adopted. Tlio Shooting Committee's report was then read.. This showed the company to have had the best for J'tars. Tho election of ofJice-bpaTors and committees was then proceeded with, and resulted as follows:—Treasurer, Captain A. ."Washer; secretary, Lieutenant, AV. Dobson; assistantsecretary, Lance-corporal G. Hay; Shooting Committees-Lieutenant "W. M'Ksrizie. Co'loiir'efergcant R: C. Wilson, Sergeant W. Clyde, Sergeant Jas, Forrest, Corporal Laurenson, Corporal ft. Hay, Private Potbiiry; Social Committee—Lieutenant W: M'Kcnzie. Corporal W. Sivcrtson, Privates W, Cordes, J?. ' AVvie, *L\ Bambery, T. Edwards, Corporal C. Laurenson; If all Committee— Officers aiid sergeants; auditors, Colour-sergeant Wilson aiid Private H. Webster; quartermaster and storekeeper, Sergeant Forrest and Corporal R. Comielldy; Finance Coiiimittee—Ofiicres and ■ sbrgoants. A vote of thanks to the various retiring committeemen' aiid to tho press for its courtesy in.publishing reports was carried j unanimously.
