The usual weekly club race was held, on Saurday, when the club was favoured with a beautiful day, A full-sail N.W, breeze, which afterwards, however, fell to light, was blowing. The keenest racing ™jn the 16ft' class, in which Portree, by only three seconds, secured first place from Hornet/ with Vision a close third. Race.—May (lmin 22see), lhr 29min 305ec,.1; Rosie (45sec), lhr 31min lOsec, 2. May, the amaller boat, led most of the way, filially winning without her handicap. 16ft Race.—Portree (lqmin <fosec), lhr 45min 45sec, 1; Hornet (smin 7sec), lhr 35mih ISsec, 2; Vision (25seo), ihr 31min, 8. Vigilant (scratch) also storted. Vision led throughout, and was first across the line, hut was displaced on time allowance.
