John Sullivan, aged 40, a seaman on the s.s. Waiwera, was remanded at the Thames Police Court on a charge oi murdering Denis Kowthan, aged 17, a deck boy, between Monte Video and •Teneriffe on May 18. It is alleged that, lie, struck tho lad two tembte blows on the head.
