Sir,—Some readers may. regard as pertinent tho question recently put to tho ..Primato in your columns by tho Rev. Wm. Hewitson, biit, as a layman, I think your correspondent, should have written privately if he wished.to have the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church taking part in the work of the Anglican Cathedral. -Perhaps the ■Rμ , . Wm.. Hcwitson does -not know that in-this'community Kjiox .'ami other churches were assisted by tho general public in.''tho tfnifl. of our old friend, Rev. Dr Stuart. When -Vrchbishop Redwood preached at the opening 'services 'of St. Joseph's Cathedral his sermon was notablo for tho graceful references made to .the liberality iif all sections of (he commiinity, and he prayed for God':; blessing ou them. Seeing that the Lambeth Conference .cf the Church of England has been working for the reunion'oi tho various denomination-:, 1 hope we'shall shortly have the pleasure of -witnessing the work of Iho Kev.
