CASUALTIES.

(Per United Press Association.) HAWERA, October 20. Two hoys went out shooting on Sunday with a pea rifle, awl in getting over a fonco the wire broke, the riSe exploding by tho fall. A boy named Sorcnsen received the pellets in his groin.

Thr. Rivcrton correspondent of the Southland Times states that- a pea rifle accident oeeurrcd at Round Hill on Saturday last, by which a boy named _ Circs. Smith, soven years of age, shot himself through the breast. Tho lad got hold of an old disused riilo and went out shooting, when lie foil and shot himself. He was at once taken to the Rivcrton Hospital.
