(Received April 29, at 10.15" p.m.) At, the Half-yearly meeting of the Colonial Sugar Company the report adopted showed that the profits amounted to £100,291. A dividend at the rate of 10 per cent, was declared, absorbing £100,000. The drought adversely affected cane, both in Australia and. Fiji. Good crops were not expected. Tho only satisfactory result of tho drought was the proof that CRiie suffered Ices in dry weather than any other crop.
