HOKITXKA, March 6. All Ohing, found guilty at the criminal sittings of committing an unnatural offenco on a boy of nine years, was sentenced to 18 months' 'hard labour. Judgment was reserved. 7 NEW PLYMOUTH, March 6. Robert 0. 801 l was sentenced to two years for forgery and passing a valueless . cheque. The criminal businoss then ended. . Tho court was engaged this evening in a heavy civil aotion for libel and ekndes. brought by the Rov. Mr Huteon, Presbyterian minister at Stratford, againßt A. Morrison, a prominent member of tha church. Tha damages claimed are £3000.
