Tho jury, after a retirement of £0 minutes, c roturnod with a verdict of "Not guilty." No evidence was offered against the same 1 prisoner on the areon oharge, and accord- f in Sly the prisoner was discharged. Walter.Smith was charged with the mur- 4 der of O.orgo Thomas Inca at Moturoa, on December 11, 1902. The parties were fisher- L men, and there -\va*> seme dispute between I ' them.
