OTAGO LAND BOARD.

The regular meeting of the Otago Land Board was held yesterday, morning, there being present llessr9 D. Barron (chief commissionei), Clark, Dallas, and Kirkprtlriek. The board was requested as to how pastoral run section 23, block VII, Tftblo Hill district, passed in at last auction sale, should be dealt with.-Run to bo offered at an upset rental of £8 per annum. The AVcitaki and Waiherao County Councils forwarded statements of proposed expenditure of 'thirds" and "fourths" for period 7th October, 1902, to 3rd .Taimary, 1903.—Approved. '■Hie Receiver of Land Revenue forwarded a memo, in regard to coal base No. 1370, held , by John Willetta, section 7G, block VIII, Awainoko district.—Mr Wilictts to show causc why his lease should not bo forfeited for non-pay-ment of rent. Harry Birley, Mark Harris. John Stephens, and fames Wilson applied for a grazing license over the " Spit reserve," Upper Wakalipu district.—Granted to applicants in trust for residents of the locality. Neil Kicolson, president of tho St. Bathana Racing Club, wrote flaking that an area of about 100 acres on Kccnsu's run, St. Bathana, bo set aside as a rncccoursc reserve.—Held over for further consideration.
