At a meeting of tho committee of this club, hold on Monday evening in the rooms of Mr S. S. MytSrs, Octagon, it was rosoived, inter alia, to again appoint Mr J, Maude, of Melbourne, to judge poulby, pigeons, aud dogs, And the secretary was requestod to wiro for his acceptance. It was also resolved to hold an art union in connection with tho show ou the same lines as last year—tho principal prize to be a gold nugget valued at £20, and a siib-committcc was appointed' to roviso tho sehodule. A letter has boon received from tho New Zealand Collie Club stating that permission has been granted to have tho collie championship prizes competed for in Dunediu this year. Thq Collie Club's prizes consist tf tho Herdwick challenge clock, challengo silver collar, ladies' challenge shield, two gold medals, and tho silver challenge cups— the last-mentioned is open to all comers. Tho prizes will be on view prior to the show. In addition to the above the otub has a sliver ohallengo cup for fox terriers, and ono for collies to be competed for, and three clocks—two for poultry and.one for pigeons. ,
