A PUBLIC FUNERAL. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, January 18; (Received Jan. 18, at 5.17 p.m.) The remains of Sir F. : Sargood were accorded a large funeral. The GovernorGeneral was represented. There was a large attendance of State and Federal members of Parliament. About 2000 members of the military corps took part. High caste Indians held a service at their temple for the repose of the soul of Sir F. Sargood. The ceremony was similar to that held at the time of the death of the Queen by the Indian troops when in Melbourne. '
