There was an attendance of 16, i including Mr, G-. Morton (captain of the Dunedin Harriers), who was running with the club for the afternoon, his own team having postponed their fixture. R. J. Kilroy and G. . Stephens wer« hares, and laid the trail from , the top of Newington road, past the golf links, j and ■ straight for Flagstaff, evidently attracted by the white-topped peaks. The snow in places was about 3ft deep, and afforded a pleasant change in the programme, although it made ' running very difficult. From the top of the hill tho trail led down through Halfway Bush, and home along the electric tram line. The club was generously entertaine& by Mr Thorn--i son, for whom cheers were given. On Tuesday ; evening the Harriers bring the season to a • close with a social gathering in the Y.M.C.A, ■ ■ Rooms, Moray place. Mr F. C. Raphael has Tesigned the position of secretary to the Canterbury Cricket Association, as he has been appointed s-ecretary of the New Zealand Cricket Council. 1 [ I
