Dairy Company was held to-day. The statement in the balance.sheet for six months' working showed a credit of £7, but the' chairman of directors said the actual profit was £54. The profit anrl loss account showed that a. deficiency of £456 occurred before the- factory commenced operations. During the six months' working the company'paid £1421 for milk, and received £2160 for butter and cheese. Last month an output of half a ton of butter per week was made, and the profits were £17. The chairman said the factory was capable of dealing wtih an output 24 times as largo, and if a sufficient supply of milk .was forthcoming he calculated that the profits would be £300 per month. ■ The balance sheet was adopted, and the directors appointed; for the ensuing year.
