THE SENTENCE ON MOORE. (Per United Pp.ess Association.) WELLINGTON, August 30,
The Acting-Premier states that he _ has seen Mr Justice Edwards iai reference to the sentence, imposed on Moore for writing a letter threatening' the life of Sir J. G. Ward. He gathered from the judge_ that ho .was grilling to rccommeud the remission of the sentence' conditional on Moore leaving!, the cqmftryv Sir J. G. Ward is now consulting' the Solicitor-general ,on the matter.
