The largest audience of tho week assembled at the Alhambra Theatre last night to witness the- excellent programme presented by Dix's Cluicly Company. livery item was encored, nru« the performance was most, successful. Actr i?j£ up to his successful policy of rapid changes, Mr Dix will move several artists, and introduce new blood this week. Miss Mollie Bentley finishes hero to-morrow night, and leaves on Saturday for Wellington. Mr John Geiger finishes his Xew Zealand tour cn Saturday, and proceeds to Sydney to join Mr Riekards's forces. Their places here will bo filled on Saturday night by M'Kisson and Kearns, Miss Ida llo3lyß, t and Mr Millar Fraser. The vaudeville'system will be discontinued, and a new first part will be substituted. New scenery, Presses, mid a bevy of charming girls will add to the effect.
