RAILWAYS SUPERANNUATION FUND.
At a large and representative meeting of railway men from all parts of the Dunedin and Onmarit districts, lield last evening in Dunedin, the- following resolutions were unanimously passed "1. That tlio Government be respeolfullv requested to do its best, to have a superannuation bill for the railway servants passed this session." "2. That tlio Government lie asked to subsidise fund to enable members of either division of 25 years' service or upwards to come upou the fund at llio nge of 60. or as soon after as retirement is determined upon, • and that a graduated scalo of contributions 1)0 arranged- according to age."
