HARBOUR BOARD REPORTS.

Rawson) reports a3follows:-" Dredging: The shoal ground below pile No. 1G is just about cut through, when I propose to dredge from pile i\o. *•. to J3, where n gradual shoaling has been taking place. When this is removed Ihcrc will be a minimum depth in tho Victoria channel of 17ft at low water, with long stretches of from 18ft to soft. During the month of June 222 dredged mads, or about 26 300 cubic .yards, which were deposited by the Vulcan ard pumped into the lUvensbourne reclamation at a combined cost for wagc-3, stores, and repairs of 9d per ralr.e yard. Retaining wall at Pelichet Bnv: Crood progress is being made with this work, unit nbout three months should see this completed. linking tongue wharf: This veiy nccessary work is completed. Many of the old planks were found to be very thin, and quite unsatejor heavy drays.
