THE KING'S CORONATION.
Our St. Bathans correspondent telegraphs tliat at an enthusiastic meeting there on Tuesday evening it was decided to hold the. Coronation celebrations on Monday, August 11. An elaborate programme has Keen prepared, providing for the delivery of suitable addresses, and including a 'royal salute, profession, religious services, children's entertainment, a huge bonfire, an excellent' fire works display, and a fancy drew ball. Wo have received from Mi- Joseph Braithwaitc, solo agent for tho South Island, r neat Coronation modal in the form of a Malteso cross. Oil coo >idc is a representation of tho 'King's head, and on the arms of the crosses "Coronation of Edward Ylt and Alexandra, August, 1902." On the appears the King's mpiioptram "E.R." and the inscription, "New Zealand celebration, 1902." Tho medal is a neat souvenir of 'an historic event.
