(Received July 25, at 9.20 a.m.) The rowing contest for O'Brien's International Cup, in connection with the Cork Exhibition, took place on the River Lee, in the presence of 50,000 spectators. The Loander crew won in llnun 11 2-ssec. A length and a-qnarter behind caino the crew representing tho Berlin Rowing Club, who were the best exponents of the Continental quick stroke. The event attracted numerous visitors from all parts of the world. It is estimated, that the Cork Exhibition benefited to the extent of at least £100,000.
