NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN ,ti»t a MEETING of the Council of the Borough of South Dunedin will be hold at the Council Chambers, South Dunedin, on the eighteenth day of AUGUST, 1902, for the purpose o£ Confirming a Resolution (to operate as a! Special Order) passed at a Special Meeting, of the said Counoil held on the twenty-first day of July, 1902, and -which Kcsolution is in. the words and figures following—that is to say: 1. That the Counoil of the Borough of South Dunedin do raise a Speeial Loan of jEMOO for the purpose of paying off the loan of £1500 falling due on the first day of October, 1902, and also for the purpose of paying off overdraft of £4900 owing by the Borough ta their bankers. 2. That the security for the said loan, and the interest therefor shall foe the general revenues of the Borough, subject to thq existing plodges of such general revenues. • ' < 3. That the said Loan shall be repayable at the end of twenty-one years. 4. That the interest on the said Loin shall bo at the rate of £4 10s per cent, per annum, and shall be payable half-yearly. '5. That Sixty-four Debentures for £100 each: be issued, with separate coupons attached thereto, for the interest payable therefor, and that the principal and interest moneys secured by such Debentures bo mode payable at the Bank of N« Zealand in Dunedin, Christchurch, Wellington, or Auckland.
