CHRISTCHURCH, July 21. The secretary of the Welcome Company reports a return this week from the dredge of IGoz 9dwt for 89 hours' work. The Al Company's dredge has resumed work.. At a uieeting of the provisional directors bf the Glcnroy Gold Dredging Company, held in this city hist night, thc shares were allotted, and Mr C. L. Russell was appointed permanent secretary. The master of the Greenstone Creek Company's dredge, reporting under date July 21, states that the dredge is putting through a fair quantity of wash, which is not of sudi a light character as it has been. Ho expects a slightly increased return this week. The master of the Grey River Extended Company's dredge reports under date July 21 tlip.t he was detained last week, having to effect necessary repairs. He hn3 got solid wash about 150 ft across the face, and he thinks it will -widen as he works ahead. He expects the return this week will be between 12oz and 13oz if all goes well, and there will bo a corresponding increase next week. ,
