HARRIERS RUNS.
The Duncdin Harriers to the number of 30 held their weekly run from St. . Clair Baths on Saturday afternoon. Jlcssrs CM(low and H'. Burk worn ocspatelicd as hares, and they laid a trail along the road bOliind the Sandtiills, on towards Anderson's Bay, ami finally turning home along: the beach; via Tslmna J'r.vl:. In the vicinity "of tlie park tho sand was too loii-e to be comfortable, but the rminnvs negotiated the part without, being any the mm for the experience. The steady pace along the hard sand next to the sea was gref.tly enjoyed, and at tho end of the run the Bennett lirodscrs, Williams, and Boyd were well np.-' After dressing, a refreshing: cup of tea concluded the afternoon's enjoyment. The "V.M.C.A. Harriers held their run at Kaikorai Valley on Sa'urday, having a muster of 17, fill told. H. Kenning rp(l A. G. Lawrence wero hares, and they laid tlie trail down tho valley, then back' r the side of tho hill, and down 011 to the road e.piin, near Mr Honntag's nursery. Tho pack (who were led liy H. ,T. Kilroy and whipped in by B. Aliramt) hud some difficulty in following tlie trail as the high wind which prevailed blew the paper in all directions, and, consequently, tlie bare.'
