(Received June 30, at 1.5 a.m.) The Bank of England returns show that the stock of coin and bullion totals £.15,410,000 and the reserve £25,102,000. The proportion of reserves to liabilities is 4D.78. The notes in circulation amount to £30,300,000, the public deposits to £12,988,000, and other deposits £44,323,000; Government securities, £14,790,000; other deposits'. £35,290,000.
Silver is quoted at 2s 0 5-16 d. per oz.
